Maurten Additions
Maurten Addition is a palate reset. It is designed to give athletes the option of adding a different taste to Drink Mix 320 or 160. Repeated consumption of carbohydrate fuels — even those with a neutral flavour profile — can lead to a state of flavour fatigue. Symptoms can include a lack of motivation to maintain a planned fuelling protocol, sickly or nauseous sensation, and a desensitised sense of taste. For athletes impacted by flavour fatigue, the result can be reduced fuelling and an energy deficit. Maurten Addition enables athletes to vary their fuel according to preferred taste without impacting the function of Hydrogel Technology.

How To Use
- Prepare Drink Mix 320 or Drink Mix 160 in 500 ml of water.
- Ensure the Drink Mix is fully dissolved.
- Add your preferred serving of Additions.
- Shake to combine.
- Consume as part of your planned fuel strategy.
Packaging & Shelf Life
Maurten Additions are delivered with a minimum shelf life of at least four months. But if you don't use them before — they are often still good after.
